ANGIE Londgren
Welcome to Little Wilderness, we are excited to share our journey with you! My name is Angie and I was born and raised in Central Minnesota, where I still reside with my family on a small farm. My passion for the outdoors started at a young age hunting and fishing with my parents, and only grew from there. Some of my favorite things to hunt are black bear, whitetail deer, and turkey. We have also had several dogs over the years that love to hunt, and there is nothing better then watching their training pay off afield. I also enjoy fishing (especially sturgeon), riding the trails on ATV/Snowmobile/Horse, and am always looking to try something new to further my knowledge!
While in High School I was fortunate to be able to fly co-pilot with my father on wildfire smoke detection. From there I met many people in the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and decided to attend college to pursue a degree that allowed me to work in the outdoors. Graduating with a degree in biology and law enforcement provided me with many rewarding internships and job positions.
I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge and love of the outdoors by: teaching youth educational/recreational/safety classes, serving on the Becoming and Outdoors Woman committee, volunteering as a youth 4H leader, working at a local hunting club, coaching high school trap, and mentoring friends and youth in many outdoor activities.
Little Wilderness allows me to combine my education, background, and passion to get our youth in the outdoors. I am excited to offer some adventures, and introduce youth to some of the other awesome mentors I have met along the way!
