EXPLORING ISANTI COUNTY PARK

TOTAL COST: $89 | DEPOSIT: $89 (THIS IS NON REFUNDABLE)

Join us for a fun-filled, educational adventure as we explore the hidden gems of Isanti County's parks! Over the course of five days, children will embark on a daily journey to a different park, each with its own unique features and themes inspired by the natural world.

Dates: June 16th-20th, 2025

10:00am to 12:00 pm Morning group 

1:00pm to 3:00pm Afternoon group 

Where: Each day, we will meet at a different Isanti County Park, offering a variety of scenic outdoor environments to discover. More detailed information about the meeting locations will be provided to registered participants ahead of the event. All parks are equipped with a porta potty, picnic shelter, and provide free entrance.

Who:

  • Ages: 5 to 10 years old

  • Group Size: Each session is limited to 12 children to ensure a safe and engaging experience for all participants.

  • Parent/Guardian Attendance: Parents and guardians are not allowed to stay during the sessions.

What to Expect:

Throughout the week, your child will have the opportunity to explore a variety of Isanti County parks and learn about the diverse wildlife and ecosystems found within each. The theme of each day’s activities will focus on different aspects of nature, sparking curiosity and inspiring young minds.

Each day includes:

  • Educational Lessons: Fun, interactive lessons focused on the day's theme, teaching children about the natural world.

  • Hands-On Activities: Engaging group activities that encourage teamwork and exploration.

  • Outdoor-Inspired Snacks: Creative snacks inspired by the park’s theme that children can help prepare.

  • Park Exploration: Children will learn about each park’s unique history and environment, all while enjoying the great outdoors.

Feel free to stick around after the session and explore the trails and park areas as a family. It's a great way to make the most of these beautiful parks!

What to Bring:

  • Sunscreen: Please apply sunscreen to your child before dropping them off.

  • Water Bottle: Make sure your child has a full water bottle each day to stay hydrated during their outdoor adventures.

  • Appropriate Clothing: The weather can be unpredictable, so be sure your child is dressed for the conditions. Layered clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended for outdoor exploration.

    Theme: Trees
    Explore the various types of trees in Isanti County and discover their vital role in the environment, from providing oxygen to supporting wildlife.

    Theme: Fishing
    Dive into the world of fishing! Learn the basics of casting, fish species in local waters, and the ecology of freshwater ecosystems.
